Hi my name is Kath and I just joined this group. I know absolutely nothing about synthdreads but am interested in finding out more about these little guys.
Currently, I have real dreads - about 6 months old and they are about 6-8 inches long. Would like to lengthen them without having to fork out a lot of money in salons and so on. Although I admire the bright bold colours and craziness of synthetic falls and such, I was wanting to go natural looking and match my hair colour.

Is it possible to actually extend my existing dreads with synthetic extensions and look "realistic" or am i just dreaming? If it is possible, is there anyone willing to help me with advice.
